Admission Process
All parents interested in enrolling children in Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st -8th grade are invited to tour the school visit our classrooms, meet the teachers and ask questions. Tours are available by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To schedule a tour click here
Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten student readiness is determine by Chancy and Bruce testing. Our Transitional Kindergarten program is for children who are academically ready for school, but are not quite ready for Kindergarten.
All students looking to enter into Westchester Lutheran School must submit the following information:
Last Student Report Card (1st - 8th Grade candidates)
Student Standardized Testing Card
Teacher Recommendations (optional)
Students Entering 1st – 8th Grade
Testing is required for all students entering grades 1st through 8th. Testing will be done by appointment only. If you are interested in enrolling at WLS, call the school office at 310-670-5422 to set up a testing time. A testing fee is due prior to testing and is non-refundable regardless of testing results.
Results will be provided after the test is completed and evaluated. Enrollment to Westchester Lutheran School is contingent upon testing results. An enrollment link will be emailed to parents upon acceptance to Westchester Lutheran School.
